The clock resets. The progress does not. Everything given in the first thirty days stays on the bar below — the goal is still $50,000, there is still one pot and one figure, and nothing about where the money goes has changed.

WHERE WE ARE NOW
Where this is being built right now
The whole operation is fourteen square metres of garage. Four metres of it is materials and tools, six is blocks curing, four is the machine and the dies. Three bins: two of sifted soil, one of cement and sand. One press. That is the entire factory, and everything the platform has shipped so far was built around it.
The constraint is not the press — it is the floor. Blocks cure flat, then elevated, then stack five high, and until they can stack they are floor. So the floor is the ceiling: the room decides how much can be in production at once, no matter how fast the machine runs. That is why a yard is the first thing on the list and not the last.
And a yard buys more than room. Running real volume out of a residential garage spends goodwill that cannot be bought back — a yard buys permission as much as it buys space. Registration, a bank account and the right to work here are the same kind of purchase: none of them are equipment, and none of them can be skipped.
WHAT THE THIRTY DAYS ARE FOR

Every contribution counts toward the $50,000 whichever slot it goes through — there is one pot and one figure, the one at the top of this page. The slot is simply where you say you want it pointed.
Three of these are rungs on the ladder further down, and a rung unlocks on the campaign total, not on its own bar — the bar shows how much has been pointed at that one thing, which is the part you can actually see and influence. No name is published for any of them.

Field sifter
The sifter gets built on camera.
Soil has to be sifted before it can be pressed, and it is currently done by hand out of three bins. A field sifter is the difference between a garage batch and a yard batch — built start to finish on stream.
Nose hair waxing
It gets waxed, on camera, and nothing is cut out.
The fourth rung on the ladder below. One take, live, in front of whoever is in the room — no cutaway and no second attempt. It is the least dignified thing on this page and it is staying that way.

WHERE THE MONEY GOES
Six things, and a number.
Not “operations”. Not “growth”. These are the actual categories the $50,000 pays for, in the order they have to happen.
Published as categories and a total. The specifics of how the entity is structured are still being worked through with counsel — and are exactly the sort of thing that cannot be un-published once it is wrong — so they are not on this page.

Getting established properly, with real counsel, before anything else is committed. This is its own visible line because it is the work — not overhead hidden inside another number.

Licences, permits and syndicate registration
The permissions required to operate at all. Sequential, slow, and non-negotiable.

Residence and work authorisation
Authorisation to live and work where the build happens. Without it the rest cannot be run day to day.

Machinery and dies
The production hardware and the tooling it runs. The first line on this list that makes a physical thing.

Yard, storage and covered curing
Somewhere to work, somewhere to keep material, and covered space for output to cure properly rather than fast.

Twelve months of compliance and operating runway
Registration is not the finish line. Roughly $5,000–$9,000 a year of compliance and operating cost continues after the campaign ends, so a year of it is funded up front rather than left to hope.

THE THIRTY DAYS
What happens, and when.
The slow items go first, because they are slow. Paperwork does not move faster for being started later.
Days 1–7
Filing starts, and so does the press
Counsel engaged and the registration and licence paperwork started — the slow-moving items go first precisely because they are slow. And the first blocks get pressed in week one, because curing takes fourteen days and that clock has to start early enough to finish inside the month.
Days 8–15
Permissions in motion, site decided, blocks curing
Applications sitting with the people who decide them, and the yard and covered curing space chosen. The first blocks are curing through this whole stretch — flat, then elevated — which is exactly the kind of unglamorous waiting a build-in-public run should show rather than skip.
Days 16–23
Tooling ordered, runway ring-fenced, blocks cured and stacked
Machinery and dies specified and ordered, and the twelve months of compliance and operating cost set aside rather than spent. The first blocks come off cure and stack five high — the point at which they stop being floor and start being inventory.
Days 24–30
The first piece built from our own blocks
Something built, on camera, out of blocks pressed and cured inside these thirty days. Not a finished building — the honest end of a first month is a first real piece, made start to finish from our own material.
THE DAILY RECORD
One line a day, whatever the day was.
Every day of this gets one sentence and, where there is one, a video. Including the days where the sentence is “we waited”. A build-in-public run that only reports good days is not a record, it is marketing.
Day 1 has not run yet.
Nothing has been logged, so there is nothing here. The first entry appears the first day the campaign actually runs — this space stays empty until then rather than filling up with a placeholder.
Thirty entries, whatever each day turns out to be. If you want the record to have more in it than waiting, that is what the money buys.

QUESTIONS
The ones worth answering.
What exactly is the $50,000 for?+
Getting Studio Comms properly and legally established, and funding its first twelve months of compliance and operating cost. The six categories above are the whole list. It is not a marketing budget.
Is this a donation?+
The tiers are not. Every tier is a founding membership or a pre-sale — you receive something for it, and in the case of the lifetime seat you receive something that is capped and never sold again. There is also a direct payment link, and that one is a straight donation: nothing comes back for it, and it is counted in the figure at the top alongside everything else. If you would rather simply follow along, the daily record on this page is free and the community server is free.
What exactly does the progress figure count?+
Four things: confirmed Founder's Crest lifetime seats, confirmed ticket orders for the closing-stream event above, the money given during the livestream, and direct donations on the campaign's payment link. Refunded and cancelled orders are excluded from the first two — a refund takes the money back out of the figure. The last two are the ones not settled through this page: they are given on another checkout, entered here by hand from those records, and if an entry is wrong it is withdrawn with a reason and the figure goes back down. Monthly memberships also fund this, but a monthly subscription has no single total, so counting them would mean publishing an estimate dressed as a fact. They are left out of the bar rather than guessed at.
Does all of it reach the build?+
No, and the difference is worth knowing. Card processing takes a cut of everything, this page included — but money given on the livestream travels through another company's checkout before it reaches us, and that longer route costs more. One $10 contribution on the stream arrived as $8.21. That is a single measurement and it is published as one: a fee with a fixed component costs proportionally less at larger amounts, so one transaction cannot fix a rate, and no percentage goes on this page until enough of them can. The counter at the top counts confirmed seats, confirmed ticket orders, the money given on the stream and direct donations on the campaign's payment link, at what was given, before fees — the last two are entered by hand from those rails' own records, and the stream money is the money that loses the most on the way here. The budget is planned against what actually lands. If you want a contribution to go as far as it can, give it here rather than on the stream.
If I pick a slot, is my money ring-fenced for that thing?+
No, and the page does not pretend otherwise. There is one raise and one total; the four slots are where you say you want it pointed, not four separate pots. The bar on each slot shows how much has been pointed at that one thing — the rung itself unlocks on the campaign total, the same figure at the top of this page. Everything, from every slot, counts toward the $50,000.
Why do the milestones use dollars instead of member numbers?+
Because the total is fed by four lanes now. Once ticket orders, the livestream money and the payment link all push the same number, a milestone pinned to "the tenth seat" would fire late, or not at all, for a reason you could not see on this page. Every rung is set at a dollar figure and compared against the same total printed at the top, so there is nothing to take on trust.
Is the 24-hour stream the same night as the closing stream?+
No — they are two different streams. The closing stream is fixed to the calendar: 26 September 2026, day thirty, the date the countdown at the top runs to, and it happens whatever the total says. The 24-hour stream is the top rung of the ladder, so it is fixed to a number instead of a date: it runs when the $50,000 is reached, whenever that is, and if the goal is not reached it does not run. One is a date and the other is a figure, and nothing ties the two together.
Will my name be published if I buy a ticket?+
No. The order form asks for a name because that is how a ticket reaches a person, and it is used for nothing else. The daily thank-you thanks the group. If that ever changes it will be an opt-in you tick, not a default you have to discover.
What happens if the $50,000 is not reached?+
The work continues at the pace the money allows, and the daily record keeps being published either way. Memberships are memberships regardless of the total — they do not depend on a target being hit, and nothing on this page is held in escrow against one.
Can I cancel?+
Monthly tiers, any time — your access runs to the end of the period you have paid for. The lifetime seat is a one-time purchase; if something has gone wrong with an order, contact support and it is dealt with directly.
Where does the money actually sit?+
It is collected by Studio Comms on the platform's own account, and the establishment work is Studio Comms' own expense. It does not route through any individual creator's account.
Will you publish what was actually spent?+
Against the categories above, yes. The plan is to report progress against each category rather than to publish a line-by-line ledger — some of what this funds is legal work in progress, and publishing that in detail while it is live would be unwise for everyone involved.
