This Acceptable Use Policy explains what is not allowed on Studio Comms. Studio Comms may suspend, restrict, remove, or terminate accounts, Ventures, pages, content, memberships, payment features, or payouts that violate this policy.
Users may not use Studio Comms for illegal, deceptive, abusive, unsafe, or harmful activity, including fraud, scams, false advertising, tax evasion, sanctions evasion, money laundering, identity misuse, unauthorized payment activity, or attempts to hide the true nature of a transaction.
Users may not use Studio Comms to move money unrelated to a real purchase or service, disguise prohibited transactions, evade payment processor rules, evade third-party platform rules, process fake transactions, manipulate chargebacks, create artificial revenue, launder money, operate unauthorized financial services, or sell investment interests without approval.
Users may not market memberships, badges, community access, Founder's Crest, digital status, patronage, or Venture participation as equity, ownership, securities, investment contracts, dividends, profit share, Member revenue share, passive income, guaranteed return, resale opportunity, or appreciation opportunity.
Users must follow all rules of any third-party platform connected to a Venture. If a platform requires use of an approved monetization provider, users must use that approved provider. Studio Comms may not be used to bypass, evade, replace, disguise, or violate third-party monetization rules.
Users may not upload, sell, stream, display, distribute, or monetize content they do not have rights to use, including music, logos, game assets, artwork, video, images, characters, trademarks, trade dress, software, scripts, mods, and written content.
Users may not use Studio Comms to sell or promote illegal goods or services, regulated weapons, controlled substances, counterfeit goods, stolen goods, unauthorized financial products, unauthorized gambling or betting, adult sexual services or explicit adult content, hate or extremist products, dangerous or deceptive products, or products prohibited by Stripe, card networks, banks, or applicable law.
Users may not use Studio Comms for harassment, threats, stalking, doxxing, hate, exploitation, impersonation, intimidation, or abusive conduct.
Users may not hack, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malware, scrape without permission, overload systems, bypass security controls, test vulnerabilities without written permission, interfere with platform operations, misuse APIs, or steal credentials.
Venture pages must clearly describe what is being sold, who is responsible, refund rules, delivery timelines, and material limitations. Pre-sales must clearly disclose what is available now and what is planned later.
Studio Comms may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, suspend accounts, restrict payouts, require refunds, require documentation, terminate Ventures, or report activity to payment processors, regulators, law enforcement, or affected third parties.
