General Game-Server and Third-Party Platform Compliance Addendum

General Game-Server and Third-Party Platform Compliance Addendum. This addendum applies to game-server communities, roleplay communities, creator groups, and similar Ventures that use Studio Comms as a governance, booking, CRM, communications, community management, founder coordination, split-record, or Venture operations platform.

Studio Comms is not the official monetization provider for any game publisher, game developer, game-server platform, creator-game platform, mod platform, marketplace, app store, payment ecosystem, hosting provider, or community platform unless expressly stated in writing by Studio Comms and the applicable third-party platform.

Where a third-party platform requires monetization, subscriptions, purchases, digital goods, donations, perks, or server-related commerce to occur through an approved provider, the Venture and its Founders are solely responsible for using that approved provider and complying with all applicable rules.

Examples of covered communities and services include, without limitation, dedicated game servers, roleplay servers, modded servers, sandbox/survival servers, creator-game experiences, private-server communities, esports leagues, guilds, clans, Discord-linked communities, creator marketplaces, virtual-item marketplaces, app-store ecosystems, and future game-server services. This list is illustrative only; each Venture must follow the specific rules of the platform, publisher, rights holder, marketplace, payment provider, and jurisdiction that applies to its activity.

For any game-server, modded-server, roleplay-server, creator-game, private-server, survival/sandbox-server, esports, guild, clan, Discord-linked, or similar community, Studio Comms should be used only for permitted operational functions where third-party rules limit or control monetization. Permitted operational functions may include founder governance, founder split records, member communication, booking, CRM, community organization, support workflows, event coordination, admin documentation, compliance records, and non-monetary operational records.

Studio Comms does not authorize any Venture to bypass, evade, replace, or violate third-party monetization rules. A Venture may not use Studio Comms to sell, process, route, disguise, or collect payments for items, benefits, access, perks, subscriptions, memberships, or digital goods where doing so would violate the rules of an applicable game platform, payment processor, or rights holder.

Studio Comms may suspend, restrict, remove, or refuse service to any Venture that appears to violate third-party platform rules or creates legal, payment, intellectual property, consumer protection, or platform-risk concerns.
